Indo Social
Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to disconnect Meta and other connected social accounts from Indo Social and how to request deletion of personal data associated with the service.
Effective date: 30 August 2026 • Last updated: 30 August 2026
1. Disconnect a social account from Indo Social
If you still have access to Indo Social, sign in to the relevant workspace and disconnect or remove the connected social channel or integration where that control is available. Disconnecting prevents Indo Social from using that connection for future publishing, analytics, or other authorised actions.
If you manage more than one workspace or company, make sure you remove the connection from the correct workspace. Removing a connection from one workspace does not automatically remove a separately authorised connection in another workspace.
2. Revoke Meta access directly
You can also revoke Indo Social's Meta permissions directly from your Facebook or Meta account settings. In Meta's Apps and Websites or Business Integrations settings, locate Indo Social and remove or revoke its access. Meta may also offer an option to request deletion of data previously shared with the app.
Revoking access invalidates or restricts the relevant Meta connection and stops Indo Social from making new authorised API requests using that connection. It does not necessarily remove records that must be retained temporarily for security, legal, billing, fraud-prevention, or backup purposes.
3. Request deletion from Indo Social
To request deletion of personal information associated with your Indo Social account or a connected social account, email support@indotium.com with the subject “Indo Social Data Deletion Request”.
Please include enough information for us to locate and verify the request, such as:
- the email address used for your Indo Social account;
- the relevant company or workspace name;
- the connected platform involved, such as Facebook or Instagram; and
- a brief description of the data or account connection you want deleted.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, client secrets, recovery codes, or other sensitive credentials by email. We may ask you to complete an identity or authority verification step before acting on a request.
4. What may be deleted
Depending on the request and the features you used, deletion may include personal account information, connected social-account identifiers, stored OAuth or access tokens, integration metadata, drafts, uploaded media, publishing records, workspace-specific preferences, and other personal information associated with the relevant account or connection.
Where deleting one user's data would affect records legitimately owned by a company workspace or other authorised users, we may separate or remove the requesting user's personal information while preserving the organisation's records where permitted by law and contract.
5. Information we may retain
We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, maintain financial or transaction records, prevent fraud or abuse, preserve security logs, resolve disputes, or maintain backups. Retained information will remain subject to applicable safeguards and will not be kept longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose requiring retention.
6. Processing of deletion requests
We review deletion requests promptly and process verified requests within the time required by applicable law. The time needed can vary depending on the scope of the request, identity or authority verification, backup cycles, legal retention requirements, and whether the data is controlled by Indo Social or by a third-party platform.
We will use the contact information supplied with the request to provide status or completion information where appropriate.
7. Third-party platform data
Indo Social cannot directly delete information that a third-party social network independently controls. To remove information held by Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, or another connected service, you may also need to use that service's own privacy, account, or deletion controls.
8. Meta App Review notice
This public page may be used as the Data Deletion Instructions URL for the Indo Social Meta developer application. Indo Social uses official Meta authorisation and APIs only after an authorised user connects a supported Facebook Page, Instagram professional account, Threads profile, advertising account, or related business asset.
Removing Indo Social through Meta's Apps and Websites or Business Integrations settings stops future authorised access. A user who also wants data held by Indo Social deleted should follow the request process in Section 3 above.
9. Privacy policy
For more information about what Indo Social collects, how information is used, and your privacy rights, review the Indo Social Privacy Policy.
